How content flagging works on RUNative

The following guidelines are what we consider the best practices for advertising on Runative. Your campaign will not necessarily be rejected if you not respect these but will result in your campaigns the receiving less traffic, and we recommend staying within our content guidelines in order for your campaigns to receive the highest volume and the highest quality of traffic. Once your campaigns will be live, if your campaign has been flagged and the traffic limited, you can find out what we detected by clicking on the flag in the ads page when editing your campaign. 

2. Misleading usability

2.1 Offers that contain false geo targeting

RUNative will flag offers and landing pages containing false geo-targeting.

2.2 Offers that are not providing a good user experience and maintain a strong online reputation.

If we judge that your landing page or offer does not provide a good user experience or if you do not maintain what we consider to be a strong online reputation we reserve the right to flag your campaign as Misleading

2.3 Offers in which users are unable to perform the landing page's call to action on the site, within 2 clicks of the landing page.

RUNative requires all offers and landing pages to allow users to perform the main call to action on the website within less than 2 clicks. If it is not possible to perform the call to action in under 2 clicks we will mark your campaign as misleading.

2.4 Offers that contain third party trial offers with unreasonable billing plans

We will flag all offers that contain free trial periods that lead onto with unreasonable billing plans as misleading.

2.5 Offers containing comments that upload dynamically via javascript

RUNative will flag as misleading all offers or landing pages featuring content that is updated dynamically in an attempt to deceive users.

2.6 Offers containing elements that default to current or recent date

RUNative will flag as misleading offers or landing pages containing elements that default to the current or to a recent date in an attempt to deceive users.

2.7 Offers or ad images containing fake play buttons or similar

RUNative will flag as misleading all offers and landing pages containing fake play buttons or any other design features that may deceive users.

2.8 Offers containing elements that are static and mimic social networks with no actual link back to said social networks

RUNative will flag as misleading all offers or landing pages that contain static elements that mimic major social network or social media websites with no actual link back to said websites.

2.9 Offers containing a promotion that expires on Y date where Y date is updated regularly via javascript

RUNative will flag as misleading offer or landing pages containing promotions expiring on Y when Y is a date close to the current date and it updated automatically via javascript or any other method.

2.10 Offers containing a countdown clock or stopwatch of expiring promotion

RUNative will flag as misleading all offers and landing pages containing any type of countdown clocks or stopwatches used in an attempt to create a sense of haste. 

2.11 Offers that are not up to date

RUNative will flag as misleading all offers or landing pages in which not all offers or promotions are available on the site (or are more than 2 clicks away).
